I remember d last time i saw her @ Hakeem's house warming. We had so much fun hanging out and gisting and just remembering my days in ISL with Tayo. Dere was so much to talk about dat day. I was sad wen i had to leave.

She always lighted up anywhere she was. She is a true star because if i say she was, i wouldnt b saying it as it is. Thinking about her now brings a smile to my face. IBK touched so many lives in the short time she was allowed to spend on earth. She brought smiles to lots of face and made everybody who knew her glad dat they did.

We(all of us who know her) have lost a gem and it is only God dat can console us.

I'm sure she wouldn't want us to cry. She would want us to know dat she's with the Lord in a place where dere r no troubles.. May God rest her soul.

I remember when Utibe called me and gave me the news. It was my friend's birthday and we were driving to get dinner. It was the wierdest thing, i felt nothing. I'm not even sure why. I guess there was just a lot of accumulated stuff to take and this was just too much. But it bugged my mind since i found out and i felt strange cos i knew there was something missing that i couldn't figure out and i was starting to measure out how much grief i should actually be feeling. Anyways i sat on my bed about an hour ago and for soe reason it took me back. I remember my first day in qc. I was this shy little 10 year old and ofcourse you ate me up. You were the first person i met cos you introduced yourself and made me your seat partner and you told me i had to bring food for you everyday and give you my break money. We became friends from that day and you took me under your wings. I remember in js2 when my parents were considering having me go to yankee for school. It didn't work out then but i remember you telling me as we walked to your house one of the many days that you were praying and praying that i didn't happen. I almost took offense but what was more powerful was the idea that that there was somebody who cared enough that didn't want me to leave and believe me that stayed with me for a while. omg, every time i have one of those classes and they ask about bullying, TILL THIS VERY DAY you still come to mind. I dont even know what we were arguing about but you haunted down js2 and ss2  corridor for one hour holding my shirt. I thought you would eventually get tired and give up but you were relentless. Some ss2 girls were asking what was going on and it was embarassing for me to complain because i was bigger than you.lol. But even with that, i remember on one of our trips to isl to see your sister when some guy tried to grab me and you shouted at him to leave me alone. You were larger than life to me then. You seemed so much stronger than i was and i wondered why i wasn't born that way. I remember you meeting my family members and how you were such a handful. I remember the exact word my sister used was "extroverted" and you were pissed when i told you cos you were like what does that mean, is she abusing me? I remember not being able to pay attention in class when i sat next to you in class and thanks for getting me into so much trouble in my first two years. It was a blast. I remember you calling me Chiwere Eyinla for my entire stay in qc. I remember how it felt when you had issues with people in school or home and how you seemed even more powerful in my eyes just because you were able to show those vulnerabilities. Wow, i remember you and i didn't even realize until how much i do and that was when i started to cry and couldn't stop. We grew apart but you were still a major part of my life. The last i saw you was at some random bar in yaba that some people had dragged us and we were both tryin to code ourselves. lol. That was over two years ago and i don't think i've thought about you so much until now. Just seeing all the things that were written by people that were close to you, i just hope you were able to see how special you were to them, to us, when you were alive. And i hope anybody reading this remembers to tell their the people that are special in their own lives how wonderful they are and how much they love them.

RIP.

....This is sooo sad (just reading Morin and Ayo's memoirs)....anyway

I remember harassing you on ss3 corridor (90s) wondering what you were always looking for in your little pinafore but always letting you escape...... fast forward that -- I saw you at Estabs (2006) and you almost said Senior Aramide, I was like come on shoosh there! Hehe -- we took a few pics (actually I took pics of you, how would I know it would be the last I would see you face to face, I would have taken one pic of me and u to cherish the memory....sigh) and fast forward, now THIS. God knows best -- I don't think His timing is ever incorrect. Your memory lives on dearie.
